American Idol's Jermaine Jones Disqualified for Criminal past

Jermaine Jones was disqualified from American Idol because of his criminal past. He even lied to the police and told them a different name twice. I think Jermaine Jones should of have chosen the right and not lied. Even though he choose the wrong and got far, he had a guilty conscience. It is always better to choose the right and have a clear heart.
